Autographs are pretty cool because it give you a chance to actually talk to the celebrities more so than in a photo op. Photo ops they try to get people through quickly which is understandable because of the huge demand. During autographs you get a chance to talk while the celebrity signs what ever you end up choosing. They have photos available for you to select and have the celebrity sign. I've always had them sign my Harry Potter books.
I only really have three tips for autographs:
1-If at all possible try to avoid scheduling an autograph on Saturday, for obvious reasons. :)
2-Be patient. Even though I had to wait for four hours it was definitely worth it! Plus, it is fun talking to the people who are in line with you. While I was waiting for Tom Felton their was an adorable little kid that was dressed up as Harry Potter, I was dressed up as Bellatrix Lestrange. He was adorable! He kept pointing his plastic wand at me and "jinxing" me.
3-If you want to have the celebrity sign something personal instead of the available photos make sure that it doesn't cost more. I have seen some that do and some that don't. It should say on the website or usually you can ask one of the workers at the Celebrity Row.
Tom Felton signed Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows
The Phelps twins signed Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Jason Isaacs signed Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
My goal is to eventually get all of the Harry Potter books signed! :)
